You need 3 hobbies: one to
keep fit, one to make money,
and one to fuel creativity. I
thought that the goal was to
get one hobby that satisfied
all three, but I’ve learned that
it’s good to have something
set apart. Something that lets
you be free from the phone,
and work, and suffocating
thoughts. Whatever your thing
is, make time to do it. And if
you’re really ready to see some
positive changes, start doing
those activities to honor God.
A simple change in mindset
will do it.
“He gives power to the weary,
and increases the power of the
weak. Even youths grow tired
and weary, and young men
stumble and fall; but those who
hope in the Lord will renew
their strength.”
Isaiah 40: 29-31

WHEN IT’S TIME TO
PERSEVERE…
Remember why you started, and
why you need to finish.
What made you start this journey
and take that original leap of faith?
What pushed you off that mountain
made up of “I’ll do it tomorrow” and
allowed you to “do it right now?”
Now ask yourself, “Is that reason still
worth the sacrifice?” If the answer is
“no”, then pull out that exit plan. If it’s
a “yes” then you have your reason for
continuing.
Understand that your future is
dependent upon your action or
inaction TODAY.
“You need to persevere so that when
you have done the will of God, you
will receive what he has promised.”
Hebrews 10:36
Imagine trying to get somewhere by
following someone traveling in the opposite
direction? How much longer would it take
you to reach your destination?
Stop sharing struggles with those that don’t
share your vision, and be willing to accept
assistance...from those ABLE to assist you.
If they can’t understand, meaning that
they are not willing to “stand under” what
you’ve decided for your life, then stop filling
your mind with their opinions. You need
support that believes you are capable, shares
your vision, and is willing to help through
an absence of negativity. Nobody needs
cheerleaders that cheer for the other team.
Create a team that supports YOU!
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by
such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw
off everything that hinders and the sin that
so easily entangles. And let us run with
perseverance the race marked out for us,”
