ETCO incorporated

SINCE 1947 , ETCO HAS BEEN DELIVERING INNOVATIVE , HIGH-GRADE PARTS AND PRODUCTS TO PARTNERED MANUFACTURERS .

R ene Martines ’ profound patent helped mold ETCO into the manufacturing corporation it is today . Cofounded by him and Joe Dunn , the diligent familyowned business is being carried on by husband and wife duo David and Kim Dunn seventyfour years later .

Martines thought to put plug blades , as ETCO calls them ( we know them as the part we plug into the wall ), in a strip and on reels so they could be crimped to a wire two at a time rather than soldered one at a time manually . This boosted production and helped greatly increase the speed while reducing labor for two former major customers : Belden Wire and Cable and American Insulated Wire Corp .
Today , with the addition of more advanced custom stampings , ETCO ’ s philosophy remains the same , relying on its ability to put product in strip form and design equipment to increase customers ’ productivity .
ETCO ’ s high-quality products are utilized across several industries , including automotive , appliance , consumer electronics and more , as well as by major customers in different industries nationally and in more than thirty countries worldwide . etco . com
