Infinity Solar Conversion is committed to harnessing solar
energy for heating and cooling. Infinity Solar is entering the
market with a Solar Water Heater which sets a new
price/performance point with very short ROIs.
Infinity Solar has developed a “Solar Storage Battery” which
allows time shifting of solar energy to make heating – and
cooling – available at night.
Infinity Solar is intending on selling globally. Initial focus will
be focused on the areas with rapid development and unique
factors which create large Solar Water Heaters. Some of the
key drivers: China is building 5 million housing units a year.
Government mandates solar water heating in approximately
half of these units. This is a $1B market. Infinity Solar
technology enables expanding the application of solar water
heaters to reach an additional $1B market. Brazil is
encouraging 1 million households to add solar water heaters
with a $1.5B subsidy. Mexico is building 1 million low income
houses. Most do not have access to a natural gas
infrastructure. Mexico’s electrical grid is not up to providing
water heating to these new homes. Solar Water Heaters are
enabling technology for this development. The total global
demand for solar-thermal conversion is over $5B
Our first solar water heater products have been designed in a
modular fashion to allow rapid adaptation to local needs. For
example, the bas ic heating unit is roughly equivalent to a 6
gallon (25 liter) traditional water heater. For the US market,
seven to ten of these modules can be mounted together to
cover the typical 40-60 gallon demands. In developing areas,
where hot water usage is significantly less, Infinity Solar can
offer a 3 module system to reach a lower price point.
Infinity Solar expects to use different channel strategies in
different regions. In China, where solar water heaters are
widely accepted and mandated by most growing areas,
Infinity Solar is emphasizing an efficient builder-direct model,
with lower price-points. Infinity Solar expects the U.S.
market to be slow to develop due to the stalled housing
industry and the overall low interest by the public in “Green”.
For the U.S. market, Infinity Solar is planning a “Chasm
Crossing” missionary development program in a few of the
“Greener” regions of the country. Initially, the bulk of our
revenue and profits will come from China and Latin America,
but Infinity Solar believes that with our 3-5 payback model,
