Abhijeet Sarthi Photo from internet his photograph was taken 20 years ago in 1993 by Kevin Carter and in 1994 he won Pulitzer prize for this photo. This picture was shot during the Sudan famine and it depicts a famine stricken child crawling towards an UN food camp, located a kilometer away. The vulture is waiting for child to die so that it can eat it. No one knows what happen to child, including the photographer himself who left the place as soon as the photograph was captured. But 3 months later he killed himself. And in his diary he wrote “Dear God, I promise I will never waste my food...” So what's the reason of his suicide? Some people said he was in depression but in reality it was guilt that had emptied him and one day this guilt will surely kill the lives of people of India too.
