ABOUT ILLUMINATE CONCERTS“ But everything exposed by the light becomes visible— and everything that is illuminated becomes a light.” Ephesians 5:13( TNIV) Illuminate Concerts is a 501( c) 3 non-denominational Christian organization devoted to bring affordable LIVE contemporary Christian concerts to the Kansas City area to INSPIRE and ENLIGHTEN individuals and churches. His word Illuminate concerts pray that our events reach the church and the unchurched and everyone see’ s His love and grace. Our goal is that our events have a positive impact on our community and lead people to following Jesus. Integrity and Ethics We will use our gifts He has given us to the best of our ability and be accountable for all of our actions. We will do our best to live our daily lives for Him and be disciples for Him in our community. Impact We pray that our nights of worship have a positive impact in the communities where our events are held. We pray the people attending see all of His glory and are moved and touched by His spirit. We pray that people surrender to Him, feel his grace and their lives are changed.
ILLUMINAtE concerts was started by Ashley Aubuchon to provide youth and all ages with positive connections, messages and environments through LIVE shows. As a youth, Ashley struggled with trying to fit in and be accepted for who she was. As she grew into adulthood this behavior continued and escalated into full addiction. After several major life crises followed by treatment she has decided to spread the message to other teenagers how bad life gets abusing drugs and alcohol. After much soul searching to learn why she made the decisions she did, she realized that not having quality and positive interactions as a youth was a big part of her struggle. Ashley is now deeply passionate about helping and investing in youth. She feels the ministry of music is an important and powerful medium because more teenagers are introduced to Christ through music than ever before. In addition to being founder / President of Illuminate, she is a committed youth leader at her church and invests a lot of her time with that ministry. She feels blessed that God saved her from addiction and wants all youth to realize and feel God’ s grace without having to go down a similar painful path.
