Erin Dalian was born in Berwyn, IL. Her father, Joseph Dooley, owned his own business and her mother, Bernadette Dooley was a homemaker. Erin has four siblings. She has been married to Renato Dalian since 2002.
Erin earned her BS in Business( with a concentration in marketing) from University of Dayton in 2000. An actor throughout her childhood, Erin turned to writing at age 24. To date, she has written nine feature screenplays and five shorts. Broken & Beautiful was her directorial debut. Joseph and Bernadette Dooley were executive producers on the film.

Hello. What is your name? How long have you been involved in the entertainment business? Erin Dalian- I ' ve been writing for 8 years and directed my first feature in 2011.
When did you know that you wanted to be in this business and what was your motivation? I first started writing when I had an idea for a play that I couldn ' t stop thinking about until I wrote it down. Once I started, I haven ' t been able to stop. I like creating stories, especially ones that can help people in their faith journey.
Who has helped you along the way and inspired you the most? God has helped the most. I pray for direction and guidance along the way and he comes through! My husband, parents and sister are incredibly supportive.
What are some of the highlights of your career so far? Finishing a feature!
Have you received any special awards or achievements? " Broken & Beautiful "( Feature Film)- Best Feature at GloryReelz Film Festival 2012; Golden Ace Award winner at 2012 Las Vegas Film Festival; Award of Merit from Accolade Competition, 2012; nominated for Best Faithbased Feature at the 2012 Action on Film International Film Festival. " Moments "( screenplay)- won Best Screenplay at 2012 Naperville Independent Film Festival
Do you have any special events, shows / gigs coming up? I will be directing two shorts and am also in development of a feature length supernatural thriller called " Shadows of Death."
Where do you see yourself in the next 5 or 10 years? Hopefully writing full time, God willing.
