1. How long have you been involved in the entertainment business? 2SDay productions has been in business since 2007.
2. When did you know that you wanted to be in this business and what was your motivation? Charlotte developed a true desire to start her own production company after moving to los angeles in 2001 to pursue acting and ending up in film and television production. The artistic collaboration occurring throughout each production drew charlotte in. Once charlotte knew kelly was on the same page, they knew it was time to form 2sday. 3. Who has helped you along the way and inspired you the most? So many people have inspired us. Not just our immediate friends and family but everyone we have met since we began the 2sday journey. We’ ve had the honor to work with some premiere kansas city nonprofits such as the kansas city fringe festival, habitat restore, mosaic brain( a children’ s arts outreach group) and the city theater of independence. Not to mention collaborating on short films with the amazing burgeoning talent in the kansas city independent film scene.
4. What are some of the highlights of your career so far? Charlotte began her Acting career at the age of 3. Her Production career began as a Production Assistant and later a Press and Winner Escort at the Academy Awards. After a brief stint as Production Secretary for a Mel Gibson produced film, she was Personal Assistant to the Second Unit Director / Stunt Coordinator on Pirates of the Caribbean 1, 2, 3 and 4. Charlotte currently works as the Los Angeles Production Manager for MagicBullet Media( www. magicbulletmedia. com). Kelly works as both an actress and behind the scenes. Kelly and Charlotte met while working as Interactors at Science City and in stage shows at Union Station and have continued to collaborate on projects both professionally and personally ever since. Having lived in Los Angeles for nearly five years, Kelly is proud to now call Kansas City home.
5. Do you have any special events, shows / gigs coming up? We’ re looking forward to working with Arthur Payne on a meaningful short expressing the beauty of
Unconditional Love.
6. Where do you see yourself in the next 5 or 10 years? 2sDay Productions plans to become a premiere company in the production of nonprofit video promotional reels, public service announcements and socially relevant feature films.
7. What would you like your legacy to be? The ultimate goal of 2sDay is to inspire positive change in the world, leaving behind a community more informed and prepared to help one another.
8. Do you have other interests? Both Kelly and Charlotte are actresses as well.
9. What services does your company offer? Specializing in educating, inspiring and empowering people by producing videos that promote the great works of other non-profit organizations and by making movies with unique stories that raise awareness on socially relevant issues inspires us.
