Dave began his musical career early. He was born into a family of musicians, his grandfather being a music minister, his father, uncles and cousins all singing in the choir, and another uncle a jazz musician. Dave would get together with his cousins frequently to“ jam”. He also played clarinet and bass clarinet in his junior high and high school orchestras. But, his passion was guitar and harmony vocals. He loved picking out the harmonies of Beatles songs.
Dave has continued to be a part of his local church music ministry throughout his life, first as a volunteer, and eventually God moved him to full-time ministry. All the while Dave has kept up his chops by playing in local rock, celtic, folk and country bands. He was the lead guitar player for a local Dallas favorite, Brothers3.
Currently Dave serves as Praise Team leader in Irving, TX. He is married to wife Susan and has two girls, one a college student and the other in High School.
Josh Cogan is a North Carolina native. Having relocated to the DFW area in Texas in July of 2011, he is the Worship / Music Leader for Woodbridge Bible Fellowship in Wylie, TX, in addition to currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Worship Leadership at Dallas Baptist University. He has literally been playing music forever, starting violin lessons at age 3 and switching to the cello at 5. He fell in love with songwriting when he was in 9th grade and has played in bands of many different genres over the years, in and out of clubs, venues, and churches. Pursuing all types of music over the years and being in church since he was born( his father is a Lutheran Pastor) eventually led him to being called into leading others to worship through music. Josh is an active member with ASCAP and has 2 solo albums out, one of which(“ We Worship You”) is available on iTunes.
