She was born in a home in the east end
and raised in a religious family, in the
central part of Little Rock.
The
neighborhood was full of violence and
the house she lived in, was right across
from a night club called Ju Joint. The Ju
Joint played music at all times of the
night with shooting, fighting, cursing,
people knocking at the door of her
home…crying out help.
She was sexually abused as a child and
verbally abused through-out her life.
She was once physically abused as an
adult by a stranger within the
community. She always considered herself a loner from K-10 grade. Throughout her life, her abuse was suppressed and
she self-medicated without using drugs or alcohol, she became codependent.
