STreeTSCAPe pLaNNINg in 2012 , the mack road partnership began work on a streetscape concept plan for the corridor .
The Mack Road corridor is considered by most to have a solid foundation for future improvements . The median is landscaped , the infrastructure is built out and there is considerable healthy vegetation , however improvements are still needed . Our areas of focus include :
• Improved lighting
• Enhanced directional signage
• Additional pedestrian and bicycle facilities
• Public safety enhancements
• Trash facilities
• A banner program
• Roadway and circulation improvements
• Gateway upgrades
• General image enhancement through design
This exciting project will extend into future years as we work , along with our allies at the City and County levels , to identify funding partners .
