At the International Society of Arboriculture Annual International Conference this fall in Malmo , Sweden , Dr . Brian Kane was awarded the L . C . Chadwick Award for Arboricultural Research . Dr . Kane is the MAA Professor of Commercial Arboriculture at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst . This award recognizes individuals whose research has contributed valuable information to arboriculture .
