Membership Matters
Happy winter, MAA Members,
Even in the quieter stretch of winter, the MAA office is in full swing. Annual renewals are coming in steadily. Your support through membership keeps our education, advocacy, and member services humming along all year. If you have not renewed yet, this is your friendly nudge to log in, confirm your dues status, and keep your benefits uninterrupted.
Winter is perfect for the kind of quick maintenance that saves headaches later. Here are three member action steps for this time of year:
1) Update your member profile
MAA makes it easy to keep your listing current: service area, services offered, and other key details. Take five minutes and make sure your profile still reflects what you’ re doing in your business today.
2) Confirm staff changes and affiliate members
If your team shifted this year, promotions, new hires, retirements, make a quick list now and decide who should be added( or removed) as an affiliate member so your roster is accurate for the year ahead. Contact the MAA office if you want to review who is( or is not) currently covered by MAA membership.
3) Decide now who is taking the MCA exam in April
The MCA Exam is scheduled for April 9 and April 10, 2026, in Medfield. Seats are limited and this exam typically sells out. If you have folks who are thinking about taking the exam, this is the moment to turn“ maybe” into a plan for preparation!
