Hello MAA Members ,
We ’ re having a great time at the MAA office pulling together the details for the new Modern Climbing Techniques & Trends workshop on August 9 and Fall Field Day on September 13 . I really hope I ’ ll see many of you out at these two events .
In August , we ’ ll check out climbing skills , techniques and gear and enjoy a great BBQ together . The outdoor pavilion at The German Club is comfortable and festive – perfect for a casual summer evening . Come for the climbing or just for the BBQ , it ’ s going to be a fun afternoon !
In September , we ’ re joining MLP for another great Fall Field Day . This year ’ s field day is shaping up to be even bigger than last year - with educational opportunities throughout the day and plenty of vendors to visit . For your convenience , we ’ ll have an entire field dedicated to parking at the eventand of course we ’ ll have our favorite food vendors on hand !
It feels like we ’ re finally making up for lost time after several years spent apart . Enjoy the sunshine , stay safe and I hope I ’ ll see you later this summer .
