Happy Summer MAA Members,
I hope everyone is embracing the unpredictable New England weather this summer!
It was wonderful to see so many MAA members at the June 20 opening of Millborn Farm in Sherborn. What a spectacular property! We are looking forward to hosting a tree and pest ID walkabout at Millborn Farm September 16. If you haven’ t had a chance to visit the property – MAA’ s new arboriculture learning hub – this would be a great time to do so!
Additional fall programming looks terrific and will present more learning( and credit-earning _ opportunities. In October we ' ll have a talk on legal matters pertaining to tree care and November ' s talk will focus on invasive tree and landscape pests.

For certified members, now is the time to assess how many credits you’ ll need by year end. Our on-demand EHAT program is available at the website and fullfills the safety credit requirement. You can always check the MAA website for Industry Events and visit the Earn CEUs page for other credit-earning ideas.
On a final note- heat awareness is paramount this time of year. Please take a moment to review heat safety protocols with your crews. Stay productive but most of all, stay safe.

Annual membership renewal begins in October. Now is a great time to review your company ' s MAA membership roster. Amy Davis, MAA ' s Member Services Manager, can provide a list of your employees in the MAA database, along with their membership status, so you can determine who should be added, removed, or updated before renewal.
