Arboriculture Learning Hub Continues to Grow

The restoration of historic Millborn Farm has progressed throughout the winter and, as spring begins, is moving full speed ahead. Concurrently, the MAA’ s plans to develop an arboriculture learning hub with The Trustees on the property continue to grow.
The MAA has raised approximately $ 100,000 through the generous support of our members and industry partners. We are grateful to those who have contributed and who helped to build strong early momentum.
We are now positioned to extend the fundraising timeline through the end of 2026, and donors have the option to fulfill pledges over a two-year period, making it easier for companies to participate at meaningful levels.
As access to Millborn Farm’ s 190-acre landscape expands, so do the goals of our Association, including workforce development, safety education, and public awareness of the value of mature tree care. It also strengthens our connection to broader conservation efforts through our partnership with The Trustees, reinforcing the important role arborists play in environmental stewardship.
As this initiative moved forward, member support remains essential. Contributions will help support ongoing improvements to the site, expand safety programming, and ensure that MAA has a strong and lasting presence at Millborn Farm.
Watch for MAA Safety events to begin this summer at Millborn Farm.
We encourage members and companies to consider contributing at a level that is meaningful to them. With the extended timeline and flexible pledge options, there are now more ways than ever to participate. Every gift helps move this project forward and brings us closer to realizing its full potential.
Together, we are creating an extraordinary space and partnership that will benefit the MAA community for years to come.
