Chair and MAA Board Representatives:

MCA Update

As we head into the next round of MCA exams, I want to give a shout-out to everyone preparing. Each person studies in their own way. Some use flash cards, some stick with paper and pen, and others use online tools like Quizlet. No matter the method, the process takes time and focus. Good luck to all the candidates we’ ll see in two weeks.
For current MCAs, the April meeting will count toward your education credits. You can also earn two credits by volunteering at Arbor Day of Service. It’ s a great way to give back while staying on track for your 2026 requirements.
If you attended ArborEXPO, you can earn two education credits for each day you were there. You may also claim safety credits for certain sessions, since many focused on safety topics. Be sure to keep your own record of what you attended. When you complete your recertification form next year, you’ ll be able to report those credits.
Happy spring, everyone. Stay safe out there. Take the time to stretch those winter muscles, check your equipment, and ease back into the season.
