MAA Gives Back : Arbor Day of Service THANK YOU SPONSORS !

For over 40 years , MAA members have proudly come together on the last Friday of April to celebrate Arbor Day by donating their time , skills , and passion for trees . Every year , dedicated professionals make a lasting impact on communities across the Commonwealth — enhancing public spaces , preserving historic landscapes , and raising awareness about the importance of professional tree care . Simply put , it ' s our favorite day of the year , and we want YOU to be a part of it !
Join the Arbor Day Group Celebration at Millborn Farm
This year ’ s biennial Arbor Day of Service will take place at Millborn Farm , a stunning historic farmland on the Sherborn / Millis town line , recently saved from development through a major community-driven effort led by The Trustees . Now , MAA volunteers can contribute to this preservation effort , helping prepare the space for public access in 2026 .
Under the leadership of Max Ford-Diamond , MCA , and Brandon Maltby , MCA , co-chairs of the Arbor Day of Service Committee , our expert volunteers will tackle essential tree care projects , including preservation , pruning , and plant health care for the farm ’ s magnificent trees .
“ Millborn Farm offers a fantastic opportunity for MAA members to come together for a rewarding and fun volunteer workday ,” says Ford-Diamond . “ Whether you ’ re a longtime Arbor Day volunteer or joining us for the first time , we welcome you to join in and make a difference .”
