Climbing Workshop Hits New Heights !

More than 100 arborists joined expert instructors for an intensive series of tree climbing demonstrations on August 18 , 2022 . The mature oaks at the German Club in Walpole offered excellent opportunities for modern climbing instruction – from the basics and beyond – all in the interest of tree preservation .
Our four amazing presenters Melissa LeVangie-Ingersoll , MCA , Rip Tompkins ,
MCA , Kyle Donaldson , and Bruce Duffy , MCA worked as a team to provide instruction on everything from traditional closed climbing systems to advanced STS climbing , along with safe gear inspection .
The workshop featured the latest climbing methods , technology , and mechanicals designed to improve climber skills and productivity .
