A Message to MAA Members

MAA’ s Annual Meeting will be held Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at the Elk Lodge in Natick. As always, we’ ll share updates on association initiatives, future plans, and conduct elections for officers and directors.
Looking ahead to 2026, MAA is focused on advancing our members and the Massachusetts tree care industry through expanded safety training & professional development programming, scholarship support for the next generation, ongoing involvement with Dr. Kane’ s UMass research, legislative and regulatory advocacy, and continued collaboration with ArborEXPO. We are also exploring an exciting project with The Trustees that could significantly strengthen our industry’ s future.
To ensure continuity and momentum as these initiatives progress, the Board recommends that the current directors and officers extend their service for one additional year. The slate of officers & directors will be presented for a membership vote at the Annual Meeting( see page 8 for details).
We also invite members to get involved— whether by joining a committee or serving on the Board. Stay tuned for details on ways you can volunteer. Your support and participation are vital to shaping the future, growth, and success of the MAA.
Sincerely,
MAA Board of Directors
Russell Holman, MCA, CTSP, BCMA Max Ford-Diamond, MCA Brandon Maltby, MCA Kevin Cleveland, MCA Matt Fisk, MCA Kieran D. Yaple, MCA Keith Bernard, MCA Steve Vernon, MCA
