WHERE THE BEST IN THE TREE CARE INDUSTRY COME TOGETHER
Fall Field Day 2024 – What a Great Day !
More than 400 tree and landscape professionals got together on September 25 at the German Club in Walpole , MA , for the much-anticipated Fall Field Day – and the event received rave reviews ! The afternoon schedule featured top-notch education , next level suppliers , live music , and a cookout .
Members enjoyed the chance to check out labor-saving equipment , discover the latest climbing gear , and learn about advancements in green industry technology .
Educational sessions were very popular and received positive feedback from attendees . The outdoor program offered hands-on instruction in shrub pruning and chainsaw safety , while classroom sessions covered topics like the best new native plants for New England , using stone in landscaping , and updates on common pest and disease concerns .
Thanks to the MCA Committee , members enjoyed testing their identification skills with the Plant ID Challenge . Congratulations to Michelle Sullivan , MCA of the Garden Girl Co . who won the contest ( and bragging rights ).
Networking was a major focus ; arborists engaging with vendors , forging new connections with colleagues , and enjoying live music performed by MAA ’ s own Kevin Cleveland , MCA and the Cowpunks .
A big thank you goes out to our MALP co-hosts , exhibitors , volunteers , and members who made this year ’ s Fall Field Day an overwhelming success !
