Get out and build a network, as you never know where that
next connection will be critical. As a former stockbroker,
I always wanted to invest in the management team more
than the company. The same is true here. We choose to
work with the best of the best, like Organa Brands, maker
of O.PenVAPE, Bakked, Magic Buzz & District Edibles. If
you choose to go with a cut-rate company and they get in
trouble, it can tarnish an otherwise excellent reputation.
“I wouldn’t trade the team
we have for anything. We
invest more in our people
than any other company
I’ve ever been with. ”
3. Compliance - I can’t stress this enough.
RINO Supply Company is a medical marijuana
dispensary located in Denver, Colorado. Its driving goal,
with everything it does as a company, is to provide a
year-round supply of high quality medical marijuana to
patients. Its greenhouse is located near Boulder, Colorado,
in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and utilizes
only sustainable and environmentally sound growing
practices. Utilizing natural sunlight and a combination of
peat-based media with coco coir and compost, RiNo is able
to produce high-quality plants—free of harsh chemicals
or pesticides—in its greenhouses.

the industry as a whole. Without further ado, here are the
top five best practices from a Colorado dispensary, in
Jared’s own words:
1. Build Your Team - Our success has been built on
our people.
I wouldn’t trade the team we have for anything. We
invest more in our people than any other company I’ve ever
been with. Training is critical. From compliance and worker
protection to best practices, training your staff will reap
benefits far into the future. With that said, you also have
to reward them. Best advice I ever got was, “Pay them
until it hurts!” This business is all about who you have, not
what you have. Don’t skimp or try to make do just to save
a couple bucks an hour. A qualified employee that has “buy
in,” who is there for a career, will be worth two people just
there to earn a paycheck.
2.
