Considering a name for himself, Dave wasn’t
satisfied with his own name. He prayed, “God I
want a name that’s weird and original, but at the
end of the day, it brings glory to you.” One day
a member from his church came to him with a
t-shirt that said “Dave TV” on the front. Dave liked
it but he didn’t pay much attention to the idea.
He then asked God again for a name. One day
while cleaning his room he pulled some clothes
out his closet and he saw the “Dave TV” shirt
again. He said “Lord that is a good name, but is
that it?” From there the Holy Spirit caused him to
remember a sermon he had heard a while back
given by an old youth pastor who preached on a
sermon about HD; The Youth Pastor’s name was
Curtis Smith Thompson. When he said the title of
the sermon which was simply HD, everybody assumed that HD stood for High Definition, but they
were wrong. During the sermon he explained that
HD meant Higher Dimension, going to another dimension in Christ. Dave remembered that sermon
and immediately the Lord gave him this theme
regarding his name “Coming To You Live on DaveTVnHD “Bringing you Jesus Christ Full Blown in HD
(Higher Dimension)”. It was at that moment, that
“DaveTVnHD” was born. #HigherDimenson (HD)
