Q: Tell us about your self-titled album, some of
the songs on there, and what inspired the creation of some of those songs.
A: It might be a cheap answer, but our songs just
come together. We write by locking ourselves in
a room, playing random stuff until we hear something good and then arguing for hours on end
about every little detail thereafter. But, when it’s
done, I think we usually come out with something
special to all of us.
Some are specific to one member of the band
and represent an event in their lives. For example, one of our singles “Meteors” was written
mainly by Mike after a rocky relationship… but for
the most part it’s an organic process which we
think is really cool.
Q: How did your first big break occur?
A: We look at everything as a break. We are so
fortunate to be where we are. I mean to even
