Sizzla 876 Album Review

With so many albums under his belt, Sizzla amazes us in releasing yet another. 876 feels like a different album for Sizzla, jam-packed with lovers tunes leaving out his more controversial content for feel good music. A few other reggae artists have chosen to take this route, as they realize it opens more global borders and expands the music’s reach.

Sizzla has experimented with more singing and less chanting. Babylon Must Fall is more reminiscent of Sizzla’s original DJ chanting style, with a ruff n tuff sound we know him for. 876 experiments with new styles of instrumentals and vocals, as Sizzla has proven to be an evolving artist delivering strong results with innovative styles. What will Sizzla bring us next?
