The Pickleball community had an eventful month , and we ’ re kicking it off with a BIG CONGRATULATIONS to the ladies ' 3.0 League team , The Sweet Gherkins ! Not only did they dominate the semifinals , but they also claimed victory , winning the entire league season . Fantastic job , ladies — well deserved !
Men ’ s Night Recap :
Men ’ s night was a fantastic event , with perfect weather to set the stage . The players went head-to-head through 4 intense rounds before narrowing it down to the top 4 : Rod Southwood , Matt Baialardo , Bob Haskins , and Rich Marinelli . After a fierce battle , Rod and Matt emerged victorious just as the sun began to set . The evening wrapped up with burgers and beers in the clubhouse , where the guys enjoyed some downtime together . Great job all around , and we ’ ll be doing it again soon !
Paddle Saddle Update :
The new Paddle Saddle has been installed for Open Play , designed to streamline the process and enhance the experience . The paddle holders now indicate groupings by color to show who is next on the open court . Please be sure to use the " Next " indicator that slides along the outside rail to maintain clarity and help keep the flow of play organized .
