Puri Sebatu Resort is located 700m above sea level in secluded and tranquil mountains, just 35 min from Ubud. It is a place that combines tradition, great cuisine, and pure relaxation, therefore, you can just enjoy your time at these amazing place.
The resort is tucked away from hustle and bustle of the city. It is positioned in the middle of nowhere with incredible views of the mountains. It is one hour and a half away from the airport. You can hire a private driver that will pick you up at the airport and show you some interested sights on your way to the resort. You can stop in the cultural city of Ubud, maybe visit some villages and Tegalalang terraces before you reach your destination. Price for a whole day private tour is around $65.
Puri Sebatu Resort has ten villas on the hills slope with big wooden deck terraces overlooking the fascinating nature. They are all designed in a natural Balinese style with bright wood, terracotta floor, natural bamboo, rough cut stone and alang-alang grass roofs.
When we arrived at the resort we were warmly greeted by the manager himself and we were offered a refreshing drink. He showed us around the resort so that we could get a feeling of the place. The resort has a small restaurant and an emerald-green swimming pool with sunbeds overlooking the Tirta Bulan River valley.
You can enjoy the amazing views when you dine at the hotels Apuh restaurant. They offer delicious Balinese cuisine inspired by local seasonal ingredients.
We had an amazing breakfast at the restaurant with different choices to choose from. It was amazing to dine at this open style dining venue with the views of the poolside and the forest.
