Our journey started in Rome and then we sailed to my favorite Greek islands, Santorini and Mykonos. Our next stop was the small village of Villefranche on a beautiful French Riviera, from where we visited scenic Nice. The cruise lasted a week before returning back to the port Civitavecchia near the spectacular city of Rome.
Santorini
Our first stop on our cruise was the island of Santorini, where we booked a private tour with Santorini Tours. We decided to explore the gorgeous island and of course, we could not resist taking some beautiful photos to show our friends and family back home. Santorini is a romantic island with spectacular views of the Mediterranean sea. The villages of Fira and Oia are the most famous villages on the island, because of the breathtaking sunsets, luxury hotels, and picturesque streets.
Mykonos
The island is famous for its parties in the summer but that is for sure not all that it has to offer. With its charming streets, blue and white houses, small restaurants and friendly locals, Mykonos is one of the most beautiful islands I have ever visited. You can explore the city or relax at one of the stunning beaches the island has to offer.
Nice
With our cruise ship, we arrived at a small port of the village called Villefranche and continued our journey with sightseeing bus to the coastal town of Nice. The city is located on the French Riviera, close to famous Monaco. You can enjoy the walk on the famous promenade, visit a picturesque beach, go on a shopping spree or just spend an afternoon at one of many restaurants the city has to offer.
