HOW PET FRIENDLY IS CROATIA?
On this particular journey, we have been accompanied by our four-legged member, Yorkshire Terrier by the name Mr. Preston. We wanted to discover how friendly is Croatia to pet owners and also we wanted to show you which cities, activities, and accommodations to choose and how easy is to have a luxury vacation even when traveling with your pet.
Conclusion: Croatia is a very pet-friendly country. It is fairly easy to find accommodation, where pets are allowed. You can also go to shops, restaurants, and cafes with your pet. Small advice: If you wish to be accompanied by your pet when you visit the beach, you should check before you go, on which beaches pets are allowed.
KRK
Only 20 minutes away from Crikvenica is the entrance to the bridge which leads to the island of Krk also known as the Golden Island. You can also visit the island from Crikvenica with the boat. There are many different towns on the island that are well worth the visit. We have visited the historic town of Krk, which is a vibrant place and major touristic center with numerous beaches, cafes, restaurants and a beautiful promenade which leads into the old town.
OPATIJA
Just 30km from Kraljevica is a luxurious town of Opatija. This is a must visit on every Croatian tour. It is the oldest Adriatic tourist town visited by tourists from all over the world.
Wonderful architecture, stunning villas, elegant parks, beautiful hotels, great shopping boutiques and the amazing seaside promenade Lungomare, will take your breath away.
