Prévus pour durer une quinzaine de mois , ces travaux seront achevés d ’ ici juillet 2023 . Pour les premières unités résidentielles , les premiers coups de pioche seront donnés en mars 2023 .
Restaurer la flore endémique
Poumon vert du projet , le programme de restauration des zones humides a lui aussi démarré . Avec l ’ ambition de recréer le plus fidèlement possible la végétation côtière d ’ origine , une zone de 30 arpents a été délimitée . Les espèces végétales invasives y sont enlevées et remplacées par des espèces endémiques .
Un développement durable
Pensé dans une perspective durable , Pointe d ’ Esny Le Village se veut respectueux de l ’ environnement . En vue de réduire son empreinte carbone , par exemple , le projet utilise le système de chambres modulaires Triton pour la rétention des eaux de pluie … Un procédé écologique , notamment parce que la membrane est fabriquée à partir de polymères à base de résine de soja . Le contrat a par ailleurs été confié à Transinvest Construction Ltd , détenteur du label Made in Moris — un critère de sélection important pour la CBVL .

Pointe d ' Esny Le Village blends seamlessly with the natural setting of the region . Infrastructure works began in March 2022 . Since then , the site has been cleared , trenches for sewers and electricity have been dug , and the construction of the enclosing stone wall is well underway . Scheduled to take about 15 months , infrastructure works will be completed by August 2023 . And , the construction of the first residential units will start in March 2023 .
Restoring the endemic flora
The green lung of the project , the wetlands restoration programme , has also started . In an effort to recreate the original coastal vegetation as faithfully as possible , a 30-acre area has been demarcated . Invasive plant species are being removed and replaced by endemic species .
Sustainable development
Designed from the very start as a sustainable project , Pointe d ' Esny Le Village strives to be as environmentally friendly as possible . In an effort to reduce its carbon footprint , the project uses the Triton modular chamber system for rainwater retention . This is an eco-friendly process , partly because the membrane is made from soya resin polymers . Moreover , the contract was awarded to Transinvest Construction Ltd , which holds the Made in Moris label - an important selection criterion for CBVL .
