Power, performance, and personality have all been given a 21st century make-over in the 2017 Porsche 911 Targa 4S – with a new engine, revised chassis, and customizable driving modes, the already tantalizing Targa one of the marque’ s most conspicuous convertibles just got better.
Today’ s Targa comes standard with four-wheel drive and can be had with either a 3.4-liter flat-six with 350 horsepower or the 4S’ s 3.8-liter flat-six with 400 ponies. There’ s no two-wheel-drive Targa, anymore.
Its emissions have been reduced as well, due to a 12-percent increase in engine efficiency. Opened up the car catapults from zero to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds and tops out at 188mph.
