As one would expect the One Hyde Park is an architectural icon, it consists of four separate but linked pavilions of varying heights to form a classical yet modern building. Its defining features of course are glass, large slender sheets encompass the entire development and reinforce the strong vertical proportions which are carried throughout and of course allow residents to marvel at the views of Hyde Park and Knightsbridge. Some may argue this gives the development a stark, clinical appearance but what character it lacks on the outside it definitely makes up for on the inside.
The cavernous reception area is in many ways the most important area of One Hyde Park. Elegantly grand, this the first area for those entering the building is light, bright and immediately impresses, setting the tone for the rest of the development, as well as promoting an atmosphere of calm, order and comfort.
