POLO IT SEEMS HAS NOW CONFIDENTLY ENTERED THE RUSSIAN MARKET …
As one of the most exclusive and elitist hobbies in the world with prestigious colleges such as Oxford, Eton, Harrow, Cambridge, Yale & Stanford all listing polo within their programs, it is little wonder that a polo handicap is often said to be a passport to high society and top level business. Churchill once famously said,“ A polo handicap is a passport to the world.” Among the players there are highprofile titles and old families. For example, in England all the men in the royal family are required to play polo, whether they like it or not and celebrities such as Tommy Lee Jones, Nacho Figueras, Ralph Lauren, Sultan de Brunei, Sheikh of Abu Dhabi ….. as well as many others, are also avid players.
BUILDING A FUTURE
To introduce the next generation to this incredible sport and its exceptional facilities the Santa María polo club has specially created the Polo Academy for college students. The Academy is designed to make the game accessible, affordable, safe and fun. As well as introducing children to the game it will also be a platform to empower the very best players to compete on the International stage as part of their Elite Squad. The Polo Academy takes place at the Santa María Polo Club and open to children aged 8 to 18, from beginners to advanced level, all year round.
