this was part of the allure for choosing

our names immediately, and we felt as
if we were a guest at a friend or family’s
home - not at a resort.

LL) What is the best time to travel
to Jamaica?
JF) Jamaica has the BEST weath-
er of any part of the world; never too
hot, never too cold, never too wet and
never too dry. Naturally, when North
America and Europe are in the grips of
winter, from November until May, Jamaica’s climate is fantastic.
They went out of their
way to please you and
nobody ever said “no” to
us for anything. We especially enjoyed the manager’s reception, where we
met a few of the other
guests and the managers
of the property over
cocktails and appetizers.
LL) What were some of your favorite
activities to do both on and off the property?
JSH) We visited the spa. It was
housed in an 18th century plantation
house and had two Swedish massages.
We also enjoyed the walking trails that
circled the property and took us past
Ralph Lauren’s home with spectacular
views of the ocean.
LL) What advice do you have for
other guests who are staying at Round Hill?
JSH) Stay as long as you can!
