Empruntée aux Italiens, cette expression magnifiée par Fellini emblématise
un art de vivre fait de plaisirs... Prendre le temps, apprécier chaque instant, se
consacrer à ce (et ceux !) que l’on aime. Existe-t-il de définition plus parfaite
pour décrire la vie de nos îles ?
Dans cette édition, nous avons souhaité rendre hommage à cette douceur de
vivre. Nous avons parcouru les plus beaux golfs de l’océan Indien, flâné dans les
rues de Victoria pour nous imprégner de son atmosphère tranquille et plongé
dans les archives à la (re)découverte de notre précieux patrimoine architectural.
Nous nous sommes glissés derrière la caméra le temps d’un tournage au Prince
Maurice avec Benoît Magimel et Pierre Niney, avons exploré les mille et une
vies du mannequin mauricien Alicia Rountree et rencontré les grands acteurs
de la région qui façonnent l’art de vivre de nos îles. Enfin, thématique oblige,
nous avons dégusté les meilleurs cocktails, visité les plus beaux hôtels et déniché
pour vous les dernières tendances locales.

This expression, borrowed from the Italians and immortalised by Fellini, epitomises
a way of life that puts the emphasis on pleasure – in which you take the time, savour
the moment, and devote yourself to the things (and the people) that you love. Is there
a more perfect description of our island life?
This edition pays homage to the good life. In it, we explore the Indian Ocean’s most
beautiful golf courses, stroll through the streets of Victoria to bask in its peaceful
atmosphere, and delve into the archives to (re)discover our precious architectural
heritage. We also slip behind the camera for a film shoot at Le Prince Maurice with
Benoît Magimel and Pierre Niney, discover the many lives of mauritian model Alicia
Rountree, and meet the influencers who shape the lifestyle of our islands. Inevitably,
given the theme of this edition, we also sample the best cocktails the islands have to
offer, visit their most beautiful hotels and unearth the latest local trends for your
enjoyment.
