Sur nos îles , le Coin Vert est pionnier dans la création de murs végétaux . Son premier mur a vu le jour en 2009 . Cédric Affouye , amoureux des plantes depuis plusieurs générations , nous explique : « J ’ ai fait beaucoup de tests avant de mettre en place mon premier jardin vertical ». Une formation en nutrition végétale en Australie en 2018 l ’ a beaucoup aidé . Le mur végétal de l ’ aéroport de l ’ île Maurice et son lounge , ainsi que celui du restaurant Luigini à Cascavelle , c ’ est lui ! Pour garantir au mur une durée de vie de plus de 15 ans , il suffit d ’ un espace lumineux , d ’ un système d ’ arrosage automatique et d ’ une nutrition adaptée aux plantes choisies , ainsi qu ’ un entretien régulier .

One of the pioneers of green walls creation on our islands is Coin Vert with its first creation dating back to 2009 . While several generations of Cédric Affouye ’ s family have indulged in the love of plants , he shares : “ I have carried out several tests before setting up my first vertical garden ”. His training in plant nutrition , in 2018 , in Australia has helped him uphold his skill which is now showcased in several places : the plant wall of the national airport of Mauritius as well as its lounge , and Luigini restaurant ’ s lounge in Cascavelle , for instance . The ingredients for a wall with a lifespan of more than 15 years include a bright space , an automatic watering system , the adapted nutritive inputs , and regular maintenance .
