Le naufrage du Wakashio au large de Pointe d ’ Esny et ses conséquences désastreuses sur notre environnement et l ’ économie de la région , resteront longtemps gravés dans la mémoire collective … Tout comme le visage solidaire montré par les Mauriciens en réponse à ce drame . Par devoir de mémoire , la créatrice de bijoux et accessoires Sunniva et l ’ aquarelliste Valentine ont conjugué leurs talents pour garder une trace , à travers des mots forts et des aquarelles poignantes , de la chronologie des événements .
Pour tout achat , 5 % du prix de vente sera reversé à une ONG aidant les familles en difficulté du district de Grand Port .
The shipwreck of the Wakashio off Pointe d ' Esny and its disastrous consequences on our environment and the regional economy , will remain engraved in the collective memory for a long time ... Just like the face of solidarity shown by the Mauritians in response to this tragedy . As a duty of memory , the jewellery and accessories designer Sunniva and the watercolourist Valentine have combined their talents to keep track , through strong words and soulful watercolours , of the events ’ chronology .
For every purchase , 5 % of the sale price will be donated to an NGO helping families in difficulty in the Grand Port district .
