Autograph Collection Hotels Launches Independent Film Initiative
Diarize January 2017 - Autograph Collection will be launching an experiential cultural program celebrating independent film , and curated by big names at the forefront of independent cinema like Franklin Leonard , Founder & CEO of The Black List , and digital entertainment distributor , FilmBuff .
The collaboration will facilitate distinctive guest experiences across its 100 plus hotels worldwide with program highlights including film premieres , live performances , director talks , screenwriter residencies , a signature cocktail as well as Autograph Collection Hotels ’ very own indie film channel for their guests .

Charity Santa Run
Pudong Shangri-La , East Shanghai will be celebrating the festive season with its second Santa Run , to be held in Lujiazui on 27 November 2016 . The charity benefits children suffering from leukaemia at Children ’ s Hospital of Fudan University in the hopes of providing them some festive cheer . The hotel has partnered with the hospital to develop a long-term charity program to provide the children financial support .
The race is open to everyone , runners and enthusiastic participants alike , who are encouraged to show up in their favorite Christmas outfit and run a course through Lujiazui ’ s skyscrapers , walkways and along the river while singing Christmas carols .
Participation in the Charity Santa Run is Rmb188 and includes a complimentary T-shirt , duffel bag , festive cookies , an energetic breakfast and a hotel gourmet passport valued at RMB1000 as well as a Santa hat and other surprises .
