ILHA Offers Free Hospitality Training during the Pandemic

Hospitality Standards Training
Program, in conjunction with Lobster
Ink, to hoteliers around the world
at no charge during the COVID-19
pandemic. Most hotels had to close
temporarily or reduce staff and so
The Stables at Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort
& Spa have created a horse rehabilitation
program to rescue and help horses that are
abandoned throughout New Mexico each
year. In many cases the horses are given up
nationally, according to the livestock board,
and the neglected animals are often abused and
mistreated.
The Hyatt Regency Tamaya had to postpone their third
annual Tamaya horse rehabilitation week fundraiser
due to COVID-19 but the public can still support the
organization though donations to the program on their
had the time to invest in training
for their staff and many hospitality
professionals chose to use some of
their lockdown time to elevate their
skills.
There are four courses with over
50 lessons that can be learned

anywhere, on any device, in multiple
languages and ILHA certification is
provided on successful completion.

website. The money raised provides care, food, shelter and
training to save these gracious animals and the Tamaya
Horse Rehabilitation Fundraiser (501(c)(3) nonprofit also
helps to educate the public about the plight of unwanted
horses.

being facilitated by Relief Bed International, a nonprofit
organization who provides beds to impoverished people
and disaster victims worldwide. SSB also offered additional
assistance, offering their factories and expansive
distribution network, capable of producing up to 20,000
beds per day, at a very low cost.
