RANCHO VALENCIA RESORT & SPA,
SAN DIEGO, CA
In light of announcing its temporary
closure, the resort is committed to
continuing to care for the wellbeing
and livelihood of its employees during
these unprecedented times with
amazing support, including paying
its full-time and salary employees
during this full one-month closure
(this includes full-time servers,
housekeepers, front desk agents,
and more), donating all perishable
food to hourly employees, launching
a canned food drive and organizing
a partnership with local San Diego
nonprofit, ProduceGood, to provide
excess fruits and produce from local
farmers and residents for employees
and families in need of additional
support once the ‘shelter in place’
orders are lifted, enacting employee
hotlines for consistent communication
with each other and more. In addition,
Rancho Valencia will be utilizing their
social platforms to share wellness and
culinary tips from the team with the
community - spotlighting everything
from easy at-home recipes to how to
create your own facial.
