ABOUT Spring Chocolate The Shangri-La Hotel Tokyo celebrates hanami and the arrival of Spring with the viewing of sakura, offering a selection of experiences to honor the arrival of the cherry blossoms. Hand-crafted delicacies with ruby chocolate, developed by Callebaut in 2017, and known for their naturally pink hue and fresh berry flavor are painstakingly created by their culinary team and ruby chocolates and bonbons are available to take away to enjoy picnic-style. Guests can enjoy a Sakura Afternoon Tea with delicious ice cream cupcakes in the Lobby Lounge or indulge in a rejuvenating treatment at The Spa at Shangri-La. Empowering Girls Right to Education The Moroccan hotel Kasbah du Toubkal co-founded Education for All (EFA) a few years ago to assist young girls’ in continuing with their education by offering them accommodation near secondary schools. Unfortunately, many girls in rural Moroccan communities are unable to study after Primary School because the schools are too remote, and the fees would be too high.
