Luxury Academy Training Brochures Business Etiquette Bootcamp | Page 2

The Business Etiquette Boot Camp by the Luxury Academy of London is designed to help prepare graduates of Indian Universities to take their first step onto the corporate ladder after gradutation.

The one-day interactive training course will focus on developing confidence, maximising interpersonal skills, learning cover letter and interview skills and understanding business etiquette in an international corporate environment.

Supported and encouraged by corporate industry leaders, the boot camp will be rolled out to universities across India throughout 2015. The first series of boot camps will be available in Delhi and Mumbai in February 2015.

While the seminars will focus on areas such as commercial awareness and influential communication, it is hoped that the initiative will address the lack of “work-ready” graduates often highlighted by the top employers. Although graduates often have a high level of subject knowledge, employers are regularly dissatisfied with their work-readiness.

According to a survey of 200 public and private sector companies; it was found that many graduates coming into the market had little or no soft skills or interpersonal abilities and seemed to think a degree alone would guarantee them employment.

There is significant soft skills gap between the graduates that employers want and how the candidates present themselves when they meet at interviews and assessment days, the Business Etiquette Boot Camp will address this gap and enable graduates to present a more confident, well balanced impression.

The Business Etiquette Boot Camp will cover

the following topics:

1. Preperation to take the first step onto the corporate ladder.
