Even if visiting Great Salt Lake State Park, isn’t high on
your list there still are a lot of great outdoor activities,
like rock climbing, biking, and hiking in Salt Lake. My
favorite place is Snowbird Resort where you can really
take in all of the mountains even during the summer and
still have a blast on the alpine slide or just sit in awe of
nature on the tram. September is a perfect time to visit
so you can go to Oktoberfest at Snowbird where their
statewide draw pumpkin pie beer is on full display.

As I explored the city in their free transit zone downtown
I couldn’t help but notice how many places featured live
music with talent that could go up against Bourbon St,
New York, and Los Angeles. Locals were quick to give
their recommendations on upcoming shows and festivals
that featured local talent and artisan crafts or just direct
you to where you could find the music you like. If art is
more your speed make sure you check out the Leonardo
where I felt back in southern California looking at the
amazing exhibits.
Wherever you go you ant go wrong at least experiencing
this hidden gem at least once.
