Men’s Fall Boot Guide by: Andy J Vera Alright, gentlemen, flip-flop season is coming to an end and that means it’s time for some new footwear. With temperatures dropping, putting on boots will maximize your comfort and style. Here’s a complete guide to get you ready for the next season. Combat Boots Military boots were originally designed to be worn by soldiers while in combat or in combat training. These boots are for those looking for durability and a vintage vibe. They also date all the way back to the Victorian era, in case you are feeling nostalgic. The name comes from the game, Polo, where a “chukka” is a period of play. Pictured Kenneth Cole’s grey desert boot Brogue Boots This boot is a style of low-heeled shoe. Traditionally characterized by multiple pieces, sturdy leather, uppers with decorative perforations (or “brogue”) and serrations along the visible edge. It is considered dressier than the combat boot, so opt out for a lace-up when it comes to business meetings. Pictured Steve Madden’s brown lace up boots
