Which song was your favorite that you performed on The Voice?

Unaware- Allen Stone. The entire collaboration with me and my competitor was like a musical.

Understanding the anxiety of being recorded, while also judged on live television, what tactics did you practice for comfort?

I do yoga, but oddly enough stress had nothing to do with competition. Stress had everything to do with making sure I’m rendering my best. Though when it finally airs and you’re being exposed to the world, that's when you’re nervous.

What can we expect from Eric Lyn in the future?

You can expect me to be very vulnerable. Expect me to be awkward and funny. Political; talking about the things people need to hear like love and light.

Eric is upon a lifelong path of creation. Graduating from California State University, Northridge with his masters in music, he is a voice to be heard, felt, and admired--a voice presented with great opulence. This singer/superstar is surely a Luxe Man from the inside out.

Eric Lyn is a sensational young artist hungry and craving expression. At a young age he found his niche in vocal presentation and is now a former contestant of the hit American television competition series The Voice. Eric has taken his appearance on the show as an opportunity to display his virtuosity. He is undoubtedly an inspiration to the one that understands the true meaning of finding your destiny.

Eric gave Luxe Kurves the wonderful pleasure of interviewing him. Here’s our Luxe exclusive peek into the journey of Eric Lyn.

Is there symbolism behind the title?

I share my full name with my dad, Eric Lyn Copeland. I wanted to keep his name sacred while creating my own identity as an artist. That brings Eric Lyn

.

Who is the authentic Eric?

I’m extremely awkward. I’ll give myself a pep talk in the mirror, get into the real world and be like, oh...okay this is what we’re doing. Let me go ahead and put on my face.

Introducing...

Eric Lyn

“If you are a fork in a room full of knives, never be afraid to be that fork. At the end of the day, you will always stand out and be different. People will always remember what that is. There’s only one you.”
