What made you decide to become a model?
What made me decide to become a model was working behind the scenes during Southern California fashion weeks and feeling like I was on the wrong side. I wanted to be on the runway. I always had a passion for it, but I always thought my size would interfere, until i decided to go for it. I wasn't getting any younger.
Do you feel the industry accepts kurvy models?
I do feel like the industry accepts the plus size models now, because it has become so common over these last few years. So we were accepted in doing boutique clothing, and casual brands. But I don't believe that the high fashion industry accepts plus size models. We don’t get taken seriously for the high fashion runways.
Who is your favorite designer?
My favorite designer is Stephane Rolland and Zac Posen. They both have such an elegance to their clothes.

The meaning of luxe beauty to me is a woman that knows who she is, and expresses her beauty through testimony to inspire others.
