" One time , I received a black Gucci purse from my boyfriend that I didn ’ t like , but didn ’ t want to seem ungrateful , so I sold it to a consignment store and got a different black Gucci bag that I liked . When I carried it , he asked me where did I get that . I said this is the bag you bought for me . He has believed that for the last 2 years ."
" I really wanted a Chanel Classic Flap from my husband , so whenever I listen to videos of women talking about how great of an investment Chanel is , I would turn up the volume so he could hear , and I would make little comments like ‘ OMG ! Can you believe this girl made money on her Chanel after a few years ? We should do this .’ And now I have 5 Chanel Classic Flaps ."

" I only buy from smaller consignment stores and ask them if they can make the sender name my aunt ’ s name so when it comes in the mail , I act excited and say , ‘ OMG ! Look what my aunt got me !’ Now my boyfriend thinks I have a bunch of generous and rich family members ."
