CEO
TAMMY PHAN is the CEO and founder of Luxe Du Jour and sister companies Luxe Bag Rental and Luxe Bag Spa . Phan grew up quite poor in humble beginnings with her immigrant parents . She dropped out of high school and worked to help her family . Along the way , she found a passion for luxury handbags . Thus , Luxe Du Jour was born ! Starting from her basement with minimal capital , she was able to kick off Luxe Du Jour by selling bags from her personal collection as well as those of her friends , and now it has turned into a multimillion-dollar company .
In 2018 , Phan noticed a gap in the consignment market where luxury bags could increase in value if they were properly kept and cleaned , thus leading to the development of Luxe Bag Spa . In July of 2019 , the first Luxe Bag Spa product was created — to make upkeep easy for all bag lovers .
In March 2021 , Phan expanded the team , moved into a downtown head office in the heart of Calgary , and launched Luxe Bag Rental which she also noticed another gap in the market of influencers and corporate professionals always wanting to switch up their style often . All three companies operate out of the same office , making it the first of its kind . Used is the new NEW .
Phan is continuously working on expanding Luxe Du Jour . Current projects she has in the works include her app , which launches later this year , as well as a US expansion and NFTs .
