WE ARE explorers of nature. 6 SHOSHONE CREEK RANCH Welcome to Shoshone Creek Ranch, an authentic western dude ranch welcoming youth, adults and families to a oneof-a-kind camp and vacation experience! • On the western edge of the Bitterroots on the beautiful North Fork of the Coeur d’Alene River • Surrounded by 3½ million acres of National Forest • Located at Lutherhaven’s Shoshone Mountain Retreat, purchased in 2009 from the federal government after two acts of Congress! • Operated under an Outfitters and Guides Permit from the Idaho Panhandle National Forests • Meals served from our restored 1880’s Chuck Wagon, trail rides, hay rides, composting toilets, running water and newfangled ‘lectricity! • The Ranch’s signature building, the McPherson Homestead, was hand-built by legendary Frank McPherson in the 1920’s and ‘30’s from trees killed in the Great Fire of 1910. McPherson did the work himself with a team of two horses to lift and place the squared logs. Lutherhaven disassembled the homestead and rebuilt it at we are 2,470 Outdoor education students fr
