Sometimes, our own habits and perspectives rub off on those we care about. And so, some
of us may be more likely to pray more often if we find people in our lives who already have a
robust prayer life. Talk to your friends and family, find out about how they find time to pray.
What works well for them? Our own prayer life can be enriched when we identify a prayer
mentor or model to whom we might look. On the flip-side, someone might look to you
yourself for this same modeling. Do not be afraid to share with others the power of prayer
that you have witnessed in your own life, or how you manage to maintain prayer as a spir-
itual discipline. What you have to say just might help out a neighbor or family member.
