One of our fellow worshippers,
Margaret Rinkel, has finished
writing a book of biblical poems.
We are excited to announce she has
offered to hold a special book study
for us here at LCofM!
Join us for the inaugural The Plow-
share and The Sword book study
on Sunday, June 23rd. Margaret
Rinkel will lead an interactive study
on one of the Old Testament char-
acters in her book, "Joseph." The
session is open to all adults, young
and old, and will last an hour.
We have a very exciting opportunity
this fall to train new parish nurses.
Parish Nurses serve an important
mission as they look out for the
health of our community. If you are
interested in being trained as a
Community Parish Nurse there will
be a class in Champaign. It meets
September 6 and October 4 from
5:30-9:30 PM and September 7 and
October 5 from 9:00 AM- 4:00 PM, all 4 dates and
online work are part of the class. Interested parties can
